Really enjoyed this, particularly the natural way you blend historical references into the narrative. I was disappointed when it ended...looking forward to reading more.

So glad you enjoyed it, Helen. And ha! to disappointed when it ended. When we were sifting the submissions for the HWA Gold Crown one of the notes I made after reading the first 60pp of each book was whether I was cross or relieved that I could now put it down...

Very engaging! I go to Shoreham-by-sea quite often because my boat’s there. And my great aunt was a pioneering aviatrix - ATA killed in the war.

Roll on the next episode(s)👏👏👏

That's one seriously cool great aunt. She wasn't Petrova Fossil, by any chance? I adore the airport building, as may show from the story. So gorgeous.

An exciting way to end my day. Being American I enjoyed researching the places, names, and things as I read. Well done!

So glad you enjoyed it, Lindsay. I'm sure you find in your own writing that it's always tricky to know how much to explain - overtly or covertly - for readers who aren't familiar with things, so I'm glad you enjoyed looking things up.
