Yesterday, the hilarious Sarah Knight posted 24 Ways to Make Adulting Easier and More Fun on her Substack. It had me laughing and nodding along, and inevitably thinking about how all these might apply to the writing part of one’s life.

My first Jerusha Cowless, Agony Aunt post, (the full series is here) and ‘Everything About My Writing is Awful and No, I’m Not OK’ both started as riffs on someone else’s wisdom, and in between making sure the second episode of All Things Invisible is in good shape for the Itchy’s lovely supporters to read, I’ve found myself riffing a writerly version of Sarah K’s take on being grown-up(ish. No saints here.).
