A good many years ago back on Typepad, This Itch of Writing had an agony aunt, Jerusha Cowless. Jerusha was last seen a hundred miles or so from the North Pole, with her pet parrot on her shoulder, clambering up a melting glacier to rescue a polar bear cub too scared to jump into the torrent.

I live in hope that some day she will walk through my door and resume her rôle here on Substack. Against that happy moment, I’ve gathered all her posts together here.
