Point-of-view is fundamental in writing because it’s your single most important tool in controlling how your reader experiences the story that’s being told. The basics are simple, though some writers find it takes a while to become intuitive and automatic, although like all things in writing, however tidy and analytical we try to be, there are always places where things are fuzzy and debatable.
